Terms Of Use

Devoted to the, yep, Terms of Use. I request that you read these carefully before "ripping off" anything here on Surrealle. If there's a grey area which needs clarification, poke me.

Give credit to where it is due. Well, be SPECIFIC - not "resources (c) respective owners". For avatars, just credit Surrealle - for layouts (coming soon), keep third party credits on too.

Redistribution will not be tolerated. The resources here are for personal use only, not for use/display on your resource/graphic site (unless I submit the designs or whatnot to that site). If any friend of yours would like these resources, you can point them here so they can come and get it for themselves.

Refrain from being a copycat. Don't take Surrealle's HTML/CSS coding and copy it word for word. Neither should you "recreate" Surrealle's design right down to the last gradient. This is a toughie; I do understand some people will imitate the design styles of others for inspiration - but they do make it their own with some of their own techniques. Or some people see a CSS effect they like and want to know how to do it as well, so they refer to the source code - but they modify it to suit their site. That's okay. However, blatant pixel-by-pixel/byte-by-byte copying is a definite no-no. If you're unsure on whether you're being a copycat or not, email me before going ahead.

No unapproved modifications on the resources provided. Simply put, don't edit the resources (layouts, avatars etc) without prior permission. Obtaining it is simple - just drop me a line and I'll see.

No direct linking! I cannot stress this enough. If you really want to link to the images here, sign up for a Photobucket account - a pretty reliable image host that I've known so far. Yes, there ARE ways of sniffing out leechers.

Watch your behaviour where public posting is allowed. It's not just me; I reckon not all of us can tolerate spamming and rude comments. Please, get a life if you're looking for somewhere to cuss. Or do it on your blog.
