And welcome to Surrealle.com (the unreal network), the "expressite" (expression + site) of a certain Ariane Kinoshita (expressite? what's THAT?!) Established on the 25th of August, Surrealle serves as a place for Ariane to house new graphic works (mostly avatars - you have been informed) as and when she feels like it - so feel free to view and even grab some graphics for your own use.

Happy surfing - if you're departing, do pay a visit to some of my loved ones located below + at the sidebar. Thank you. =)

Layout Info

You are currently viewing Version 3 of Surrealle, featuring various characters from Special A. This is a CSS-powered DIV layout designed using Photoshop CS3. Due to Ariane being half-lazy and half-tired, most of this layout's coding is "ripped off" from the coding of the previous layout (act TWO.) Images used are screencaps taken and cleaned-up by Ari herself. =)

Wowzers, yay for summer. Wait - the last time I edited Surrealle was in OCTOBER?! Sheesh, really. But I'm glad I now have 7+ weeks to myself.

Anywho, I present you with session/version/act/whatever THREE of the site. The pink Bleach layout was fun, I'll say (it *did* raise a few eyebrows but that comes with using pink, I guess. xD) However, it's done its time, and now we have another bright layout - although I suppose maybe yellowy-orange is a bit nicer on the eyes. Feel free to disagree though!

The story on how the layout came to be/got its title is a bit personal. It's not just because this new anime addiction of mine (Special A) inspired me; it was the course of today's events that left me *somewhat* drained but thankful for a few of life's lessons. Hence why you see this layout now. Oh, I -did- recycle coding from the past layout on the basis of "it's time-saving!". So there are structural similarities between this layout and the last, but that's where they end.

The design style of the main image is something I came up with after some meddling - note to self: I don't think blending's my forte really! But I guess making stuff clean-cut, design-wise is. Now don't start saying that "clean-cut's" an excuse to skimp on design skill; I've heard that before. I personally took the trouble to come up with a "ripped page" effect for the main image (and I consulted one of my A-level seniors as well) - then I had to tone the design down so that we don't have too much going on at once - what with the bright colours; do we really need too many textures to go with it? Well, that's how I see it. -_-

Enough there - if you want to know about the events today that spurred me to design this layout, keep an eye out for a ym.net update over the next couple'o days.

All right, I guess it's time for me to start re-visiting affies. Yosh, I see that Ryuku @ Dis-Order has a new layout up - even though it's been a month already. Millah/Sarissa is taking time to tweak w/ Radioactive-Toy, as she's moving her graphics there...when it's done, I'll change the link. And Anna? Last I checked, she's awfully busy. =\

I was also gonna plug my "fraternal-twin-of-6-days" - Scarlet/Scarlie Saryka - but unfortunately, her icon site SCANDALOUS is down for revamp work. -_- Her Cool Losers Lounge deserves at least a mention...even though I'm not a member there. Sorry love. xD

Toodle-pip, people! Comments welcome.

P.S.// I say Saryka's my "fraternal twin of 6 days" because she's exactly 6 days my junior. Age-wise, we're the same. No joke. =)
